City’s Mobile Office going to Goodwood, Gugulethu and Shirley Park

Next week, the City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office will be heading to the Goodwood Library Hall, Gugulethu Sports Complex Hall and the Shirley Park NG Kerk. A wide range of non-emergency enquiries such as rates, sewerage, electricity, water, refuse collections, and all other account enquiries will be provided. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the services that come along with each mobile office visit.

The details are as follows:
• Wednesday, 27 August 2025, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Goodwood Library Hall, McDonald Street, Goodwood
• Thursday, 28 August 2025, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Gugulethu Sports Complex Hall, 373 Steve Biko Street, Gugulethu
• Friday, 29 August 2025, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the NG Kerk, De La Bat, 29 Herta Louw Street, Shirley Park

‘This is the City’s commitment to bringing its services closer to communities and making local government more accessible to residents. City staff will be in Goodwood, Gugulethu and Shirley Park to provide guidance and assistance on queries arising next week. Residents are reminded to bring along their IDs or municipal accounts to help ease the process on the day,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.
